From Wildlife to the Beautiful Game
My photography journey started in the stillness of nature—waiting quietly for the perfect shot of wild animals in their natural habitat. But one unexpected conversation changed everything. A work colleague told me about a local club in need of a match-day photographer, and before I knew it, I swapped the silence of the wilderness for the roar of the pitch.
The transition from photographing graceful, often motionless wildlife to capturing the lightning-fast action of football was a challenge—but one I embraced. Each game taught me something new: how to follow the ball, anticipate the play, and freeze those fleeting moments of triumph, determination, and pure emotion.
Now, I’m thrilled to be following Gosport Borough Women FC into the 2025/26 season, ready to capture every sprint, tackle, and goal. From the wild to the beautiful game—my lens is always focused on the story.
